A hearty selection

The bistro with its classic Parisian-style bar is the centerpiece in the Restaurant Schlüsselzunft's atrium. If the weather is fine, the bistro opens out into a boulevard terrace on Basel's lively Freie Strasse. Enjoy our Bistro menu with great wines, regional beer and snacks. The bistro's kitchen is open from 11.30 up to 30 minutes before closing.

Spring - Summer - Autumn

Unfortunately, due to the road works in Freie Strasse, only a small outdoor catering is possible at the moment.

Already in March, when the first rays of sun announce spring, the small tables and garden chairs are set up and the first guests enjoy the lively hustle and bustle of downtown Basel on our terrace in the pedestrian zone.

On the only street café of Freie Strasse we serve our bar offers under the open sky. Watch the hustle and bustle on the shopping street and feel the pulse of our city of culture.
