Tap water in Switzerland meets the highest standards of hygiene, taste and safety. This is due to strict guidelines for water protection and the everyday work of more than 2500 water suppliers.

Water as a resource also brings inequalities to light. Increasing production of food and consumer goods, global trade, climate change and urbanisation compromise the availability and quality of water. For hundreds of millions of people, daily access to water is an existential challenge.

After centuries of development, Switzerland has the privilege of an excellent water supply. Meanwhile, access to water is an existential challenge for hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

We charge you a small amount for every glass or bottle of tap water in our restaurants and spend the money directly for the WfW project.
